Happy Holidays to all and welcome to a brief update from me here at Pathways Healing!

As many of you know, I have had a busy year, retraining in the art of acupuncture, while keeping my regular practice going.

I am most grateful to all of you who have helped me out with my acupuncture case studies. Keep looking in your mailbox in the new year as you have a special treat coming to you! I have completed my exams and I am still writing up the details of my case studies and finishing my dissertation. If all goes as planned I will have my Diploma in Acupuncture on the wall by the end of January!

I will be registered with the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners. Many people are not aware that acupuncture is often included in your workplace insurance coverage, so be sure to check your plan if you are interested in booking appointments with me in 2011!

I will have more information on the many benefits of acupuncture on my website in the next few months. Did you know that the World Health Organization has approved acupuncture as an effective treatment for over forty different conditions? And, not to worry if you are not so crazy about needles. I have several alternatives I can offer to you.

I will also be getting back to offering my regular workshops in Reiki and Intuition Development.

Here is a brief list of my upcoming classes:

Reiki Level 1: January 15^th, 10am to 5pm

Intuition Development: Every Thurs. eve. in Feb. from 7 to 9:30 pm

Reiki Level 2: March 5^th, 10am to 5pm

Check the calendar for more details. Preregistration is required for all workshops and class sizes are small, so get in touch soon.

In all the Christmas rush, don’t forget to take care of yourself, and don’t forget that some of your local peeps have lovely gift items too.

I know I am guilty myself of trying to do the one stop shopping thing. We all feel so rushed that we might not be thinking of the meaningful gifts that are out there.

A gift certificate for acupuncture, Reiki, a reading, a massage etc is always appreciated and it won’t be something kicking around in the bottom of the kitchen gadget cupboard in a year or two.

Also, if anyone would like to come by and look at some of my crystal pendants and ear rings, be sure to let me know. I still have several copies of my Aura Reading manual around the office and there are some meditation CD’s by Alex Baisley here for only $5 as well.

I still have items available in my online store and you can pay online for a gift certificate and I can either  email or deliver it right to you.

I am at 44 Cardigan St. and my prices range from $10 to $25 for a sweet piece of positively charged jewelry. I can let you know when I am between clients and you can come have a peek and a cup of tea.
