So, the big news is…..

I have recently purchased a new low level acupuncture laser.

I have had a single light laser pointer for many years, and have offered laser acupuncture here and there, mostly for children or people who were sensitive to needles.

I spent a lot of time over the last few weeks researching and looking for the perfect device. I found a good deal on a multi-light device that is much more powerful than my little single pointer. Low level laser is very safe and is painless, but still has some great results.

I can combine laser acupuncture therapy with your regular acupuncture appointments, but I have also created a new treatment option in my online booking system, for people who would like to have a shorter treatment, using just the laser acupuncture device. With the shorter appointment, new patients would still need to come in for an Initial Consultation, and to try laser acupuncture on it’s own, it is recommended that you book a series 2 to 3 appointments per week for 2 to 3 weeks to give it a chance to work. These appointments are super quick and effective. You will be on the table for about 20 minutes. I ask people to wear stretchy clothing that can be rolled up to expose the body part you wish to have treated.

Laser therapy can be effective for:

pain
muscle tensions
trigger points
inflammation
tendonitis
sprains and strains
arthritis
osteoarthritis
and more

There has been a lot more research in the last few years about it. See below, or check out my research page for more info on acupuncture, cupping therapy etc!
