- Please do NOT come to an appointment if you are sick or have been exposed to anyone who is sick
- Practitioner wears a mask at all times in clinic when mandates require this. If you would prefer your practitioner to wear a mask, please ask. We are more than willing to accommodate.
- Practitioner is self screening daily before coming to work
- Clients wear a mask at all times while in clinic when mandated to do so.
- Clients are pre-screened for covid symptoms before appointments
- Clients are asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry to the clinic and before leaving
- Signs are posted at entranceways and throughout the building warning of standard covid precautions
- Any client with symptoms of illness, or any client who has been exposed to someone with symptoms of illness is asked not to come for appointments until everyone in their household is symptom free for at least 24 hours
- Practitioner and client will physically distance as much as possible except for during actual treatment time
- Contact information and schedules for each client are kept for contact tracing purposes
- Appointments are scheduled to minimize the number of people in the waiting area
- Practitioners wash hands between each client, and sanitizes frequently (Ie, if practitioner needs to touch any item in the room during treatment (eg computer), practitioner sanitizes hands before touching the client again
- All items and surfaces that may have been touched by the practitioner or the client are sanitized between each client
- All linens and towels are handled by a professional laundry service
- Practitioner is sanitizing common areas (lobby, staff washrooms, client washrooms, staff kitchen, light switches, door knobs etc) minimum once per day. (Other practitioners in the building have also committed to sanitize at least once per day. Professional cleaners also clean building common areas regularly.)
- Clients are asked to bring their own water bottle if needed
- Clients are asked not to arrive more than 5 minutes early for their appointment, or to wait outside or in their car if they are early
- Clients are asked to leave promptly when their appointment is over
- Clients are asked to attend their appointments alone, unless they are a child or are in need of assistance
